The Morning After: Corinne Bailey Rae's Medly on Jools Holland

Check in with us daily to see Suite903 artists take over TV. Today we’re watching Corinne Bailey Rae perform “Paris Nights/New York Mornings” and "Closer" on Jools Holland.

Whenever Corinne Bailey Rae plays guitar while she sings we're always in awe out how smooth she does it. She still exudes the same slinky sexiness as in her second performance of "Closer" during the first of "Paris Nights/New York Mornings" with a heavy instrument in her hand. The guitar looks light as a feather the way she wields it as she softly wails into the microphone. Everything about this woman is hot and she does it with no extra effects. Usually clad in black, (possibly still mourning for her late husband) while standing so petite and slender underneath that massive head of hair, she sends out major vibes with just a flicker of her wrist or the raise of an arm. Elegance is the word that comes to mind. Watch her own the stage in both performances below.
