Getting signed to a major record label should be the peak of success in the music industry. Someone cares enough about your music to put it out through traditional methods pressing up CDs (if that still matters), getting videos in rotation on major networks—you know, the stuff few independent artists can do. If you've been paying attention to Mickey Factz for the past five years, especially in the last six months, he and his GFC-NY management and marketing team have landed coveted primetime TV spots on BET and TNT during 106 and Park and major basketball games, respectively. Achievements like those should be like paradise, right? Not quite, yet. Mickey, now recently signed to Battery/Jive Records will be in an even kushier place once he plants his Supra sneakers back where he was just a few months ago with a formal debut album to his credit. That said, after the jump lies the latest step on his road to The Achievement.
