We were quite surprised to see this on Drowned in Sound—a completed Perfume Genius album that is being released next week?! Where did that come from? We've very much enjoyed the slightly demented boy next door, from the heart, songs of Perfume Genius. He's got a piano and a warble in his throat and a lot of potentially disconcerting melodies to splay out over much echoed space. We're predicting big things for this record. Pick it up on Turnstile.
