Julian Lynch spins folk music on its head with “Ears.” Turning what would normally be a languid piece of guitar instrumentation with half sung falsetto vocal sketches into the dissonant yelp of what sounds like a massive radio tuner. The constant thud of the drums the only constant and concretely familiar sound.
