Leo Messi might be having a party soon. He really wants Oasis to play this party. You may have had these thoughts at some point too. You, however, are not the greatest soccer player in the entire world. His teammate on Argentina's national team, Carlos Tevez, turned him onto the Gallagher brothers on the lengthy plane ride to South Africa for the World Cup.
"I have to say I wasn't expecting much but it is some of the best material I have ever heard," Messi said. "They are absolutely amazing."
Messi then asked Tevez if he would go to a concert with him, giving Carlos the unfortunate task of telling the greatest soccer player in the world his new favorite band had already broken up. So in the only logical next step, Leo has rallied his teammates and is now offering a blank check toward a reunited Oasis playing the celebration if Argentina wins the World Cup. The Gallagher bros are known soccer fanatics, meaning they could just look back in anger at such an offer, but it looks like England won't live forever in this tournament. Maybe Messi and his dominating young squad could be their wonderwall here (sorry, couldn't help ourselves on this one). (Via: Deadspin)
