We woke up early this morning and went on a trek through the wilds of YouTube just to find the right video to kick off (no pun intended, we swear) this very special day. The United States will lock horns with Algeria in Pretoria, South Africa at 10 AM EST, in their last match of the 2010 World Cup group phase. If they win, they're through to the next round and we're likely to spend the rest of the week blogging in all caps. Above is video pulled from just before the US boys' first match of the 1994 World Cup here in the States, a historic/seismic campaign that would lead them on to the tournament's Round of 16 for the first time since 1930. There will be mp3s and music videos and indie rock tomfoolery here all day, but if you can, we urge you to take in just a second of the match if possible. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Also, Tab Ramos!
