We like the idea of the gold-medal anthem “Trillionaire” becoming one of our summer self-esteem/workout staples, but it’s not even our favorite song off Bun B‘s forthcoming third album, Trill OG, which is saying something. Some of us heard a little sneak preview last week—including a lady-killer single with unheard 2Pac and Pimp C verses—and we’re excited to say it’s some of our favorite solo work. He told us the reason Trill OG‘s release was delayed so many times this year (from December, to March, to current official date of August 3) was because he was perfectionist about his process and he wanted to get the record just right. From what we heard, it seems like he’s succeeded.
