MIA once again flips and folds Stuff We Buy into her lyrics in a way that will make people mad in vague ways. With "Teqkilla" she's chanting over abrasive synth lines that caused people to wild out on an unprecendented level last Saturday at the Creator's Project. Like, do people realize this is basically what it would sound like if MIA teamed up with Black Dice? Because they were throwing beer like she'd awoken some latent, primal teenage anger. Why do we all of a sudden want to drink Sparks?
