Once upon a time in a dark and spooky basement in Brooklyn, people were sweating and drinking cheap beer. Surprise! But this night was different. A young man named Jack Tatum came all the way from Virginia to Monster Island Basement with a few friends to quench thirsts and set the record straight on how awesome his band Wild Nothing is. We stood on the side, at risk of getting hit by the bass, so that we could amply watch everyone calm down to Wild Nothing's most catchy and soothing tracks. They played "Confirmation" (above) and "Live In Dreams" (below) before we realized how sweaty we were.
