Wilco's Summer To Do List: Start Own Label?

Since parting ways with Nonesuch Records, Wilco have been enjoying a very active summer. They’re hinting at starting their own label, gearing up for a European tour, and kicking around album ideas all while doing dates in America. Frontman Jeff Tweedy even took time to produce Mavis Staples’ new album due out in September; also penning a few tracks. Pitchfork has one dandy for you here, a country ballad called “You Are Not Alone.” As for the new album, guitarist Nels Kline told D.C. newspaper Express, "You can guarantee a fair quotient at least of some form of rock." If nothing else, they seem to be having fun with the process. (Via Billboard)
