We never heard it until now, but Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill spent a lot of time studying the fretwork of a one Carlos D back in the day. The latter has left Interpol but his paw prints are still likely to be found all over the New Yorkers' forthcoming, self-titled LP. It's due to land September 4 via Matador and OneThirtyBPM has a stream of the new track that just sparked our realization: "Barricade". It's relatively lighter than "Lights", the first single you might have heard here, and it's also up for grabs on iTunes. Ever heard of it!?
