Phosphorescent Finds His Gear and His Own Double Rainbow

phosphorescent

Phosphorescent makes some pretty sad tunes sometimes. Even so, he seems like a pretty happy-go lucky dude, something that came through loudly in his adorable letter to his fans this past weekend, who showed a great deal of support for his band after $40,000 worth of gear was stolen along with their van after a concert in Brooklyn. The guy had just had the gear that represents his livelihood taken from him at the beginning of a tour, and he was still all smiles and passing along good vibes and having his faith in humanity restored (and yes, quoting the Double Rainbow guy from the Internet). This had to have scored him some karma points, as early today he announced the NYPD had found the van with all the musical gear still intact. That basically never happens. Ever. That's got to be cause for a happy song. (Via: VillageVoice)
