Frankie Rose and The Outs Sang "You Can Make Me Feel Bad" On a Sidewalk

Though Frankie Rose was once a secret weapon to the likes of Crystal Stilts and Girls both Dum Dum and Vivian, respectively, her talents are secret no more. Rose is now fronting The Outs and together they sat on an East Village sidewalk for us to perform “You Can Make Me Feel Bad,” a beer and sweat-spackled clip of which you can enjoy above. It’s an Arthur Russell cover and the only song on their self-titled debut not penned by Rose. She makes it hers anyway.

Frankie Rose and The Outs is awesome and out September 21 on Slumberland. To bolster its release, they’re trying to raise some money right now to get a proper tour van. So if you care for rock music and want to see them share their wares this Fall, head here to help out!

Her tunes aren’t bad. She has somehow found her way into that “cool for school” Bradford Cox club whereas people will shit themselves over whatever she puts out or whatever band she plays in. Great place to be.
