Perry Farrell Interviewed Yoshiki of X Japan

Before this tumbled into our lives today, we had absolutely no idea who X Japan was. But now we do: they're a metallic pop outfit that just so happens to be the biggest and baddest in all of Japan, though that description seems kinda surface-y. Judging by the way they're received at home, they're as much a rock band as David Beckham is simply a soccer player in other parts of the world, ie much, much more. Mr Perry Farrell has booked them to play a set his Lollapalooza festival next weekend and he does most of the talking in the above interview. If X Japan can import any one thing during their brief stay in the United States, we hope it's the sense of decorum their home audiences seem to hold so dear, as seen in the live footage during the clip. We'd bet our lunch break that not one beer was spilt on someone else's head during that particular show.
