The high price for cheap sex, getting robbed by the cheap service, that's real hard living. What seems like the worst place to be, isn't because Fitz and Noelle Scaggs sing with pretty high sprits considering the shitstorm of trouble they're in on "MoneyGrabber." That motive of turning lemons into lemonade is the basis of their blues channelling an upbeat rally of Motown-era soul on the old 88 keys of ebony and ivory. And it's bittersweet having already howled at the moon over breaking up on their first album. Their second release, Pickin' Up The Pieces, coming August 24th does a proud of walk having built a tolerance for bullshit. No shame in their game.
