In the past, New York's own Chris Faust went by his rap alias, Print. Having done a mixtape inspired by graphic novels, he drew parallells to his fellow collaborators like Mickey Factz, Homeboy Sandman and Fresh Daily to super-powered figures because of their lyrical prowess. That was then, this is now with the future being written under his surname which is the title of his debut album FAUST. On his new leak, Faust hooks up with Warner/Asylum's soul man, Outasight where they reflect on New York living, but forward motion is always the focus. Like Rakim said: It ain' t where you're from, it's where you're at.

Chris Faust and his producer partner Ibe document the making of FAUST through TheSessions. They pick each other's brains on the synesthesia of Ibe's beats to how Faust structures his rhymes. The saga continues.
