UPDATE: Outasight’s brand new mixtape just got serviced for the masses. Download it here.
Either someone’s got some money to spare to clear a sample of Tribe’s “Left My Wallet In El Segundo” or there’s a genuine love for their other influential records besides “Bonita Applebum,” et. al. We’re willing to guess Outasight is the latter, thinking outta the box if he’s gonna reach Tribe STANS. You can’t ask for a more genre ambiguous inspiration that could be afro-beat for it’s drums or part-mariachi for it’s prickly guitar plucking. Having worked with a crop of rap purists like Chris Faust and Freddie Gibbs, he finds a way with his single off of his Never Say Never mixtape, sponsored by LRG out today.
