As if to pay retribution for crummy mainstream co-opting (sorta no offense to Shakira. Or Jenny from Gossip Girl), The XX have coopted a bit of the mainstream themselves, adding new cover of the vocal house classic, Robin S.'s "Show Me Love.", which hit #1 in 1994. Words are so easy to say, you've got to show me love. A little proto-XX. Check the above video where they combined the track with "Shelter" at their New York show this past Saturday.
