Video: Jack White + Conan O’Brien, “Twenty Flight Rock” (Eddie Cochran Cover)

November 09, 2010

Last night, Jack White appeared as the first musical guest on Conan O'Brien's new show on TBS, Conan. (Maybe you watched it, maybe you were seeing Odd Future instead.) With a little help from Jimmy Vivino and The Basic Cable band, the two covered Eddie Cochran's rockabilly standard "Twenty Flight Rock," a cover they had recorded earlier down in Nashville for a live Conan LP that White plans to release on his Third Man imprint. More memorable than the actual performance, though, was the hair scene: Conan's trademark wave has gained some gray and JW was channeling Vincent Price just as he did the last time he graced The FADER's cover. Time flies. (via The Audio Perv)
