Video: Apolis Completes Its Epic Vietnam Expedition

November 16, 2010

Apolis, maker of men's clothes with a philanthropist's heart, recently set out on an adventure through Vietnam "to create a travel documentary that celebrates the heritage of a country and highlights the manufacturing process of our season’s key product." Creative director Raan Parton, technical designer Geoff Rittmeyer and cinematographer Dave Christenson set out along the Ho Chi Minh trail on some old Russian Minsk motorcycles, documenting the people and places of the rapidly evolving nation. They documented their two-week journey on the Apolis Journal and recently completed the accompanying documentary film, which you can watch above. Having been to Vietnam several years ago, we can tell you these guys are some lucky jerks. Maybe not so much lucky, and probably not jerks actually, but we would've liked to tag along. Stay tuned to Apolis for the upcoming items in their Transit line, made with small scale Vietnamese manufacturers.
