The crazy thing about post-modernity is walking around thinking that 100% of the world is pock-marked in Ed Hardy decals that were made in Bangkok only to realize there is no such thing as a "now" and that dudes that seem straight out of our 20th-century romantic fantasies of times past and long gone are still in Naples living in gilded houses that they pay for not by starting hedge funds but by tailoring suits.
