This Week in The FADER: December 12, 2010 Edition

December 12, 2010

*TMZ caught Miley Cyrus taking a huge bong rip of salvia, and we had our buddy cook up a freaked out video and MP3 remix of the clip. Christmas wish is that Lil B drops a verse on the instrumental. Fingers crossed.

*Lykke Li's new album offers something to all parts of the emotional spectrum, but it says a lot about her new aggression that seemingly indefatigable rap legend Mike D felt the need to put it into narcotic dub zone instead of trying to match the intensity on his remix of "Get Some".

*We let out the third installment of our mix series with legendary latin label Fania, Twin Shadow's remix of Ray Barretto's "Acid".

*We Shopped and Scrooged a modern cat, first domesticated in Cyprus around 9500 years ago and since evolved into the least enthused creature on planet Earth. No other animal is as fun to look at or put under a faucet!

*We listened to Ariel Panero's heartwrenching last song, "The Lonely Island".

*Raekwon released “Butter Knives,” which sounds like the new old Raekwon.
