** Did Dr. Dre capitalize Burning Man? According to a handwritten letter, he happened upon the wild gathering while scouting locations for the "California Love" video and realized he could “get behind this shit and make some loot off of these fools.”

** We heard the re-recorded version of Panda Bear's "Last Night At the Jetty" that will appear on his legitimately emotion-shifting new album Tomboy.

** The Strokes had their long awaited second emergence into the popular imagination, releasing their new single "Under Cover of Darkness" and debuting the album art for their forthcoming album Angles. We celebrated their return by returning to our feature from FADER 50 on New York Rock.

** We hoped the the leaked photos of Cassie canoodling with a towel-draped Diddy would help push out her long delayed album Electro Love.

** Star Slinger made an exclusive FADER mix for Dollars to Pounds.

** We took a chillcation with Ana Tijoux of Chile. Her Elefant mixtape taps the easiness that comes from feeling super strong and comfortable in your own bones.

** Tyler, the Creator was nervous to release the video for "Yonkers," a song from his solo LP Goblin that will drop this spring. He shouldn't have been: the gut wrenching black-on-white performance immediately trended on twitter and got 289,528 youtube views in just two days. Will he become Bieber's new best friend? Meanwhile, Tyler also remixed fellow FADER 70 artist Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers," and Hodgy, Left Brain and Nakel goofed out the 7 Eleven.
