What if Maybach Music turned into a production house for dudes to rap over hand drums and chimes? Meek Mill would no longer get to yell, Wale would have to start writing a lot of love songs—and Rick Ross? He'd be doing what he always does, which is pick the best beats around and then tell these sort of lame, but somehow still weirdly interesting stories over them. He does that two times in both tracks, getting introspective (sort of...mostly he talks about getting his girl a boob job and how her mom is a florist) on "Ashes to Ashes" and then teaming with a notably calmer Meek Mill for "Perfectionists."
