Video: Moon Duo, "Scars"

At first when we saw this, we were like, Oh great. More found footage! Gotta love it when bands get obsessed with renting tapes from the library to make music videos that have nothing to do with the song. But our knee jerk reaction was completely unnecessary and wrong, because there's actually more going on here. Sanae Yamada of Moon Duo rooted through old Super8 footage of her mom doing ’60s stuff in 1968, and created a weirdly compelling accompaniment to the low-key (for Moon Duo) "Scars."
