Stream: Fleet Foxes New Album, Helplessness Blues

NPR is streaming the new Fleet Foxes album, Helplessness Blues (out May 3rd on Sub Pop), but they could just as easily be streaming the new CSN album. Seriously, a couple tracks on here—particularly "Bedouin Dress," are so Nash and Stills-inflected that anyone helplessly hoping for a new album, will be pleased. We've even got a "Montezuma" for Young's Cortez (realize that's solo Young, but you get the point). Regardless, Fleet Foxes brand of lumberjack quartet is ceaselessly easy to listen to, and while it doesn't hold any great surprises, it certainly delivers some pleasurable rock that I would really enjoy listening to either with or without my dad.
