It's unfortunate and revealing that on "She Be Puttin On," an ostensibly independent-woman-affirming track, the chorus ends with Gucci Mane calling the swagful/stuntin/not-askin-for-nuttin female he's celebrating "my little chicken." As a collaboration with Waka Flocka, it's solid, but miles from their best work together. "Puttin On" was probably recorded for their joint album. That's scheduled for June 21st, a release date shortly after Gucci gets out of the pen for perpetrating some other misogynist nonsense.
