Auckland’s Chaos in the CBD have an EP out on Monday, and the first single beautifully and obviously samples Ms. Diana Ross. On Jim-E Stack’s remix, that sample is rendered barely recognizable. It’s a trick Stack has been known to relish in, curbing a sweet lady’s vocal until it’s purely prehistoric and percussive. At around the 3:11 mark, that effect feels its most primal, with Ross’ high notes stuttered so wildly it hits every corner of your brain like a tiny little reflex hammer making all your joints jump.

Hi Alex, thanks for shining some light on the homies. One little correction though. Auckland not Aukland. Apart from that, brilliant work, carry on!
