As much as anything can be the future, Washed Out's Timothy Saccenti and Alan Bibby-directed video for "Eyes Be Closed" is the future. When we're all living up to our necks in trash and there are rats riding around on hovercrafts with AKs (um, or whatever?), this video will be playing on constant loop while raggedy orphans stagger by. It features a woman in leopard print and flashy jewelry riding a motorcycle against a sunset and/or wild shapes. This is the past and future of luxury car commercials and it is absolutely no one's lifestyle except maybe Britney Spears circa 2001.
