Thrintage: Seven Wonders Vintage

July 20, 2011

FADER contributors cross boroughs, counties and states to find fine thrifted and vintage pieces on the cheap for our column, Thrintage. This week, Maia Stern hits up Seven Wonders Vintage in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Seven Wonders Vintage opened a few months ago. The new store has an awesome selection and isn't jam packed with so much stuff that it overwhelms you. Instead, stand-out pieces catch your eye the moment you walk through the door. The prices can be steep, but they also have a box of cheaper sweatshirts and tees. They carry great jewelry and bags, and have one small but sweet rack of men's clothing.

I've never been a crop top kind of lady but my eye always wanders to these little midriff tanks. A little belly goes a long way. I especially like the top on the right that ties in the middle.

I love the print of this backpack—it's like having your very own portable rug that you can also put things in.

I'm pretty sure nothing is better than this watermelon dress. I've been drinking a lot of watermelon juice this summer to stay cool, it's awesome to see a dress be just as refreshing.

Shoes: $30.00 - $40.00
