Beyonce must be so used to performing in spanx bodysuits, six-inch heels and headdresses that we wonder if it’s more of a challenge for her to just chill on stage and belt out a song. Is she still Sasha Fierce when she’s wearing a simple white mini and a pair of matching but sensible stilettos? How does the grand dame of divas prepare for quieter intimacy? Theatricality aside, she’s wonderful here, as in control with her voice as she’s ever been with pyrotechnics.
