On a pretty regular basis, we wonder why there aren't more chances for us to see Omar S DJ. It's not that he doesn't come to New York, it's just that we're being spoiled babies about it and want him to just show up whenever we want. He must have somehow figured this out, because not only can you download "Gunup Runup" below (holler if you want to get nerdy and talk about the textures of drum sounds in the song), but he's also DJing tomorrow at MoMA PS1's Warm Up series and then releasing an EP called High School Graffiti for free through Scion A/V on August 9th.
