This week Charlottesville, Virginia’s Nathan Broaddus, recording as Evenings, released his second instrumental EP, Lately. It's incredibly peaceful, with slow-plucked strings and woody percussion unfurling at a patient, early morning pace, as if Broaddus recorded the first half in a dream and the second in his underwear over camp-Thermos coffee. Perfect to nap to, perfect for working in the garden.
