For some reason we haven't figured out yet, it seems completely fitting that Main Attrakionz are making their live New York debut at The New Museum for the Get Weird series. It's not that they make especially weird music—although some if it is certainly hard to wrap your ears around. It's more that the duo just seem perfectly primed to make one of those weird crossovers into the worlds of people that don't care about rap. This isn't a bad thing, it's just a wider audience and yet another chance for us to slip aesthetically similar records like Three 6 Mafia’s Mystic Stylez into everyday conversations.
