Favorite artist – Janelle Monae. Hands down. I’ve been following her since she was just an artist out of Atlanta. She has the voice of a goddess and the stage presence to rival any soul, rock, or pop artist out today! I also can’t wait to get acclimated with some of the bands that I’m not too familiar with. Overall I’m too excited for APF 2011!!!

I love Fishbone for their fusion of styles and Angelo’s remarkable stage presence!!! But mostly, I love them for the way their music injects my soul to move!!!

Janelle Monae – Janelle Monae is originally from Kansas City, KS. Before she hit the scene out of Atlanta she was starting up her rise to fame right at Schagle High School. I am also from Kansas and went to the same school district as her – USD 500. She always leaves a piece of her heart on the stage, and is one of the most humble people you ever meet. I would love to be vip and show Janelle Monae and other artist how much I love them.
