Publish Makes Casual Menswear

publish-fall11-4

The last time we caught up with Publish, the California brand that’s been kicking around simple styles for a couple of years now, creative director Michael Hunyh described his brand’s aesthetic as “casual menswear.” And while romping around in the middle of the desert doesn’t seem like the most laid back activity, the pieces in their fall collection still reflect this uncomplicated philosophy. Quilted vests, utilitarian jackets and single hued button-ups make up the majority of the no frills collection, although there are still some crazy prints to be found (namely in the form of some half-melted, camo-looking pattern on one of the jackets). It’s all effortless gear to wear when you just want to go on cruise control, and we imagine Hunyh is okay with that.
