Opening Ceremony Debuts in Paris with Kenzo

October 03, 2011

Yesterday in Paris, Opening Ceremony founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim showed their first collection as the newly appointed creative directors of storied French house Kenzo. It's a pretty big deal, since, as we told you earlier, the design world is very protective of Paris fashion. OC didn't seem nervous, though, and actually, amidst all of the pressure, seems to have had a good time designing all of these colorful clothes. They courageously tackled lots of territory in their first presentation, filling it with trends like sporty, bright trenches and some not-so-trendy but amazing bird-printed mumus. Closing out the show was their old friend and muse in a new hairdo, Chloe Sevigny.
