Bradford Cox, we can barely keep up with you. This is basically the one millionth teaser track from Cox's upcoming Parallax, which recasts him as some sort of rock n roll alien, but mostly just sounds like an Atlas Sound record. That's not bad though! With every release, Cox makes songs that sound more powerful and timeless, to the point that we can see ourselves playing Atlas Sound and Deerhunter records for our children (only when they're a little older, though) and being like, Hey kids! This guy really had an idea about what he was doing, sometimes it was weird, and sometimes we didn't get it, but it always made for great music. Parallax is out November 8th on 4AD.
