Keep Shelly in Athens have been true to their Greek roots as of late, acting as the mother at her daughter's big fat Greek wedding, constantly keeping the baklava coming, making sure we never go hungry. The baklava comes in the form of songs from their new EP. Last week, they served "Lazy Noon" and today they're offering the paranoid "DIY." Throughout the song a Halloween-ready, impatient piano line taps its foot, but our favorite part's when some Diana Ross brass comes out of nowhere. Keeping us on our toes! "DIY" might be Shelly's most approachable song yet. The wonderful, always on the ball Forest Family Records will release the Our Own Dream EP early next month.
