Video: MGMT, “All We Ever Wanted Was Everything”

New Zealand-based animator and illustrator Ned Wenlock made this video for MGMT’s Bauhaus cover, "All We Ever Wanted Was Everything." The song, which slowly and sweetly describes the daily grind in a factory town, is appropriately animated, with a cityscape unfurling across the screen, smokestacks and all. The rigmarole may get tiresome, but Wenlock makes it look lovely.
