“I kill for euphoria and use it as a venue to get that polar-shifting depressive state across. This isn’t about me not being happy, it’s more about my frustration with the pursuit of happiness,” says Expensive Looks’ Alec Feld, and this pretty much sums up the feeling you get when you listen to “Nothing More” or any of the tracks on his debut album Dark Matters. He somehow manages to sonically summon the endorphins while dwelling on the loneliness in you. Dark Matters is out January 17th on Group Tightener.
