UMO are a fun band to watch play live. Their brand of blissed-out rock is infectious and upbeat, but after months on the road, it’s gotta be hard to keep up the energy. Thankfully, for our interview, the band had a couch to rest on. Ruban Nielson admitted to feeling at 50%, and wunderkind drummer Julien Erhlich was too tired to hold the mic. Despite all this, they were fun to talk to and even better up on stage.
