After the graphic whirlwind that was H&M’s recent collaboration with Versace, the Swedish mass-retailer has moved on to a very different kind of Italian fashion company: Marni. As style expert Tim Blanks says in a video announcing the collaboration, Marni's creative director Consuelo Castiglioni is a "thinking designer" not a "sexy" one, and so this effort will stand in direct contrast to the slinky print carnival of Donatella's work. As you can see from the short film, you can expect Marni's famous chunky jewelry and jewel-tone soft fabrics. The collection will debut in March of 2012.
