Lil Boosie Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges, Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison

November 29, 2011

Earlier today, Baton Rogue rapper Lil Boosie, born Torrance Hatch, pled guilty to three counts of conspiring to smuggle drugs into two correctional facilities, Dixon Correctional Center and Angola State Penitentiary. He has been sentenced to eight years in prison (he'll receive credit for the time he's already spent locked up). Boosie is also charged with first degree murder for the 2009 death of Terry Boyd. It has not yet been decided whether or not the District Attorney's office will pursue the death penalty in that case.
