For probably like 75% of readers of this site and I think everyone writing for it, Black Dice have been making/breaking music more than half of our lives. 15 years in, they’re releasing their sixth full-length, Mr. Impossible. “Pigs” is the first single, jarring and hundred instrument-sampling as ever, like a sound collage made from stacks of sound collages, ripped into a Dell computer, thrown in a river, fished out and connected to hot-wired PA speakers. The “Pigs” video above was directed by the band; Mr. Impossible comes out April 10th on Ribbon Music.
