Mike Wexler’s album Dispossession will be out March 6th on Mexican Summer, which means you'll be able to live with it, get bummed out by it, stop listening to it, and then come back to its warm, disorienting embrace by the time next winter rolls around. It's that kind of album: impenetrable, thick, and even kind of dizzy. But not in a bad way! As "Pariah" illustrates, Wexler is great at mining slivers of hope from dark ambiance.
