Brother-duo Square Off might not be a well-known name outside of the group's native Harlem (yet), but fans across the country might recognize a name in their lineage: hip hop royalty Doug E. Fresh is their father. Square Off were originally a trio—"Where Dat Chicken At" was one of 2010's weirdest rap records—and while this writer would love to see the group reunite, the duo's chemistry on the recent Money, Moet & Memories EP suggests that they definitely have a fresh approach in their current incarnation as well. Single "Hooked On You" is a perfect example. The brassy production isn't the first texture you'd expect to perfectly conjure devotional euphoria, but it does, and you'll be hooked.
