Gary Clark Jr. is being touted as the newest savior of the blues. "Don't Owe You a Thang" is from his Warner Bros. EP, The Bright Lights. It's great song, built from the same quick structures Bo Diddley and Howlin Wolf loved, ramped up and sassed out. Whether or not Clark can revive electric blues remains to be seen, but people have certainly hung their hats on lesser hopes than him.
