Twin sisters Nicole and Natalie Albino bka Nina Sky, know how to wear a bevy of different hats, whether they're teaming up with Kid Sister for a Spanglish rendition of Debbie Deb's "Look Out Weekend" or, more recently, getting a little gothy and providing guest vocals for CREEP. Beau Vallis-produced "Day Dreaming," the first single from their sophomore album, is a bedroom knocker with a crawling boom-bap undercurrent and a breathy hook. Nicole & Natalie, the follow-up to Nina Sky's 2004 self-titled debut, is slated for release this July. The album comes two years after the sisters asked to be released from their deal with Polo Grounds Music. Last summer, they independently released a digital EP, The Other Side, and it has been reported that they'll release Nicole & Natalie on their own as well.
