Agi & Sam’s Mature Plaids and Prints

February 28, 2012

In quite possibly their strongest collection to date, Agi & Sam showed a runway collection in London that moved past the digital prints and hyper-color insanity of their previous seasons and grew into something subtler, with an amazing burnt orange and pink color palate that still had visual pop but felt mature and wearable all the same. We interviewed them for FADER’s December/January issue at a moment when they were obsessing over the wacky style of Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but the muse for fall/winter is even farther askew than that, with clothes suitable for a fey dandy doing his best to work a campy mountainman look. Whatever the inspiration, we'd wear almost every piece in the collection.
